Description: Impressive pair of good quality Russian .875 silver large spoons, with an applied crest of what appears to be a vase of flowers over a shield. They are not monogramed. One seems to have seen more use than the other based on the pattern being worn. So, they are "almost" sterling silver but not quite due to the cultural standard being different than the US, England and other countries. Russia/Poland = .875 Sterling, others = .925. The brighter one of the pair weighs about 2.5 -3g less than the other one. They have matching hallmarks of a stag or deer, woman's head w/ a lota/or small L sign to the left of the profile head for Warsaw, and the ' 84 ' for .875 pure silver. A maker or perhaps assayers mark with a ' d W ' Total weight is 157 grams. The total length is about 8 1/3" inches each. Please review all of the images and let me know if you have any questions.
