Install as shown in pictures with logo facing outward and slides over your silver piston and should seat securely against the back of the gas block. It is recommended to test fitment in your upper receiver with the barrel assembly removed first, as fitment will be slightly different per each replica. A tiny amount of material being shaved off on first install is perfectly normal and by design to create a perfect fit. Part is made of ABS plastic and will not melt or deform like PLA.
