These tails are consistent with the original antique tails and have a little more body than other replacement tails you may have tried. These are the only ones I use in my own restorations. They may also be trimmed for side or angel wings (handle carefully should you need to do this, they are glass). You may expect to see a few loose strands, that's normal for this item.
