Description: This is a rare item. An original 18th century Georgian Door Knocker. This is an original of the Urn Style design which has been widely copied ever since. One of its steel / iron rivets holding the knocker one is missing so this will need replacing. It retains its original fixing bolts but will need a new pair of nuts to fix to a door. It is named " Mr Rich'D Figg " and dated 1783. An original item this has age related wear. Size is 8 and a half inches high and approx 5 inches at its widest. Please see pictures.
