Description: Original women's silk dress wedding slippers/shoes. I believe they are from the 1830's or possibly the 1840's. The stitching is very tiny and they have a tiny silk bow. They are straights with square toes. Soles are leather as is the inside lining. The shoes have been gently worn, with overall condition very good. There is some light discoloration and the heel of one shoe having some silk loss. The 2nd heel has a small area beginning to fray. Measures 9" from front to back and 2" at the widest part of the soles. Truly a rare find for the connoisseur collector. All pieces are sold in vintage condition.
