Description: GOLD PLATED! Entirely new brass body! This is a new nickel plated body that I added gold plating to, then sealed with clear lacquer. Has a nice original look….. not bright and shiny…. I really like it. Has excellent original Victor Orthophonic diaphragm and original Victor needle bar. Plays: BEAUTIFULLY. New parts: brass body, back plate, retaining ring, new magnetized needle bar bearings and dampers, and new rear flange mount. Expertly assembled and adjusted by myself. All machining work done! This is the LAST of the new brass bodies that I have in gold plate. No more! No zinc parts! Will never crack, swell or disintegrate! Need a nickel plated one? I have those as well. NOTE: These reproducers are for playing acoustic and 1920s electrically recorded 78rpm discs ONLY. Playing 1930s, 40s and 50s music with this reproducer will overmodulate it, and cause spider detachment and metal fatigue, which is irreparable damage.
