Description: Navy Department Personal Affairs Booklet (April 1943, U.S. Government Printing) - This booklet, which measures approx. 5 1/2" by 8 3/4", covers pay, savings bonds and stamps, power of attorney, the Soldiers' and Sailors' Civil Relief Act, and so much more in its' 41 pages. The booklet is in very good, not perfect, condition. The cover, and all pages, which are tan-colored, are firmly attached. The front cover has a chip at the bottom left-hand edge, the left-hand edge has an approx. 1" tear at the top staple, the bottom right-hand edge has a piece missing, and also a tear and another piece missing at the bottom right-hand corner, there is an approx. 1/2" crease there that extends through the booklet; the back cover has an approx. 1/2" tear at the top left-hand edge, there are some blemishes at the bottom right-hand side.
