I am selling the following item: A Budget Vela the Night-Clad Commander Deck: This is a commander deck built around Vela the Night-Clad. It is for the Commander/EDH format and includes 100 cards. The Commander/EDH format is a singleton format meaning you can have no more than a single copy of any given card other than basic land in the deck. The deck’s commander is Vela the Night-Clad and the other 99 cards in the deck are dedicated to taking advantage of Vela the Night-Clad making them basically unblockable as well as leveraging advantage from being colorless. Vela the Night-Clad’s abilities are a nice package for an Aggro style of deck. She has Intimidate and your other creatures also have Intimidate while Vela the Night-Clad is in play. Her last ability makes all of your opponents lose a life point whenever one of your creatures including Vela the Night-Clad leaves the battlefield. So the secret tech in the deck is that your creatures are basically unblockable because only artifacts can block them since you can’t share a color with colorless creatures! There are 42 creatures in the deck and Vela the Night-Clad makes them all unblockable except to artifact creatures! And don’t forget her last ability. Even if your creatures die you will still be taking life away from your opponents totals. Remember you don’t avoid combat you Devoid combat! Standouts in the deck include: Sire of Stagnation, Sifter of Skulls, Artisan of Kozilek, and Endbringer There is 1 Mythic and 10 Rares in the deck so there is some great card quality which you will see for yourself when you get playing! Creatures: There are many creatures in the deck and they all focus around maximizing your game state by producing more creatures, ramping your mana, and owning the combat step. With the intimidation provided by your commander your armies will be nearly unblockable and attacking with Artisan of Kozilek who has annihilator 2 when it can’t be blocked will wreck your opponents’ gameplans! Whenever an opponent puts a land into play and if you have Sire of Stagnation on the battlefield you will be able to draw 2 cards. With 3 opponents that’s Draw 6 before your turn starts again if they all hit land drops. This kind of card advantage is unreal. Bearer of Silence will make them sac creatures. Blinding Drone will tap their creatures. And Sifter of Skulls will keep making creatures. There are so many toolbox creatures in the deck I just can’t list them all. Check out the deck list and see for yourself! Spells: The deck’s spell suite includes sorceries that range from removal with cards like Oblivion Strike to combat tricks like Swarm Surge. There is also some light hand disruption. The deck’s instants include more removal like with Grip of Desolation, combat tricks, and a few counterspells to stop your opponents from stopping your game. Its bad enough your enemies will struggle to deal with all of your creatures having intimidate let alone dealing with counterspells like Void Shatter and combat tricks like Adverse Conditions. Remember, your commander is doing double duty and will be a real workhorse for the deck. Do not be afraid to keep putting her out there and taking advantage of her abilities. You will ramp up quickly and minimize the pain of commander tax while your creatures will be smashing face and disrupting the table. So if you like weird extradimensional monsters, being unblockable, Devoid, or messing the whole table up at the same time then this deck is for you!
