Description: Mammillaria priessnitzii for sale here. Plant is in 4 inch pot with a single stem that is around 3+ in diameter and high. M. priessnitzii is a solitary, later clustering, cactus with large pink flowers in a ring around the top of the stem. It is covered by crowded tubercles bearing the spines of variable shape and length, occasionally they are very long (up to 2 inch long) and abundant wool in their axils, so that the tubercles are almost completely covered when plant in maturity. Originally widespread throughout central Mexico in Hidalgo, Guerrero, Aguascalientes, Zacatecas, Queretaro, Hidalgo, Tamaulipas, Nuevo Leon,Plant ships bare root. USA and her territories ONLY.
