Description: Pretty teen girl identified as "Alice Lodge, Wenatchee, Wash." on reverse. There is a date before the ID that reads 1894 - 1909, with the 1909 scratched out. It looks like the photo was taken in 1909 when Alice was 15 years old. Alice Mary Lodge was born 23 January 1894 in Iowa, the daughter of Charles Howard Lodge (1864 - 1942) and Harriet Isabel Whitehead (1866 - 1959). She married Robert Horton Peddycord, born 12 October 1892 in Spokane, Washington, son of George Willard Peddycord (1866 - 1941) and Maude Richhart (1867 - 1910). Robert died 10 March 1961 in Los Angeles, California and Alice followed him on 16 August 1975. Photo measures 4.75 x 7 inches and is in good condition for its age, but as it's about 100 years old, it is not perfect. The photo itself is in very good shape, but the mat shows aging, spots and smudges. It looks as if ink or paint hit the upper portion of the mat. Please see scans for inspection. The "Ancestry Ephemera" watermark you see will not appear in the original photograph you will receive. Please write should you have any questions and I'll answer to the best of my ability. I am happy to combine shipping on multiple orders, so should you purchase more than 1 item, please wait for an invoice before paying. Thanks!
