Description: Clarity Records. Tree Of Love/ You Painted Me Blue. This 7" acetate was recorded at the Delta Recording Corp. New York City. This group would become Lance Fox & The Bloodhounds and record one 45 for Bang in 1966. My guess is this recording pre-dates the Bang 45 by at least a year or two. The acetate grades VG with surface wear and an overall cloudy appearance. Since it played decently as is I didn't want to risk trying to clean it. Read up on how to clean acetates if you've never done it. Don't use any cleaner that contains alcohol. Both sides of this acetate can be heard at the bottom of this description section. They determine what qualifies and the discount given. Sellers have no other insight into how it works. GRADING Near Mint or Mint Minus: My top grade. The record or cover will show the most minimal of wear. The record will have top gloss. The cover will be free from any ring wear, splits, or handwriting. VG++ : Not quite Near Mint but a super clean, desirable record. VG+ : The record or cover will show signs of wear but no significant defects. VG : Obvious signs of wear but the record still has life in it. VG does not mean beat. VG Minus : The record or cover will show moderate to heavy wear. For a common record this would not be an acceptable grade. For an in-demand, rare record it should be considered. Good : Very heavy wear. This grade would only be acceptable if the record is rare enough that you might not see another copy available for sale or it's a rare record at a low price.
