Description: Welcome to my Store, this listing is for a pretty Kitchen Apron with Pockets at both sides recently handmade using an up-cycled whole border piece from a vintage and preowned 100%cotton small Kitchen Tablecloth with the original hand embroidery and hand applique design of the famous "BELLE picking flowers in her Garden", to form the half Apron I added the 100%cotton woven medium weight 1/4" red and white checkered print fabric in the lateral panels, pockets, waistband and the border hem the was finished with a jumbo Royal Blue rickrack sewn on top of the border, the original tablecloth was soak and wash before the sewing and press with no starch, have no stains, holes or bad odors, only had 2 broken single thread in the woven fabric the I already repaired and is very hard to see in the pictures, this cute Apron is in excellent condition. - Apron skirt is 19.75 inches long in the center without counting the waistband and 43.5 inches around the hem- waistband is 20.25 inches long and 1.75 inches wide- tiebacks/sashes are 45 inches long in each side and 1+5/8 inches wide- pockets are 7.25 inches high by 6.75 inches wide. I really enjoy to made this Apron using this colorful hand embroidered and hand applique Skirt and Bonnet of the Belle all done by the original owner, the original cotton fabric is kind of medium weigh soft canvas or Barkcloth, have the look of Aida cloth, I am really not sure which kind of cotton fabric was used to made it, i the perfect piece to start your own collection of one of a kind pieces of vintage hand embroidered Aprons, can be for everyday use, for display or for a Christmas gift to that special Lady in love with "BELLE", everybody will love it!, comes with a handmade tag.
