Description: K Germany Limited Ed 1992 Daddy Long legs 17" Doll “BESSIE” Stamped mark For your consideration is a wonderful Daddy Long Legs African American doll named “Bessie”. She is Gracie’s best friend. Bessie was introduced 06/92 and is now retired. Bessie has a resin body and limbs. Her hair is made of crepe wool. She is dressed in a black skirt and green jacket with a plaid wool tam and scarf. She carries a canvas bag with groceries for the homeless. Bessie is not signed, just stamped (Please see Pictures) and has a gold star on her jacket. When she was introduced, a portion of the profits from her sale was donated to organizations that help homeless families. She is Daddy's Long Legs Doll BESSIE 17" Doll 1992 With Original GRACIE Box not BESSIE Box please last pic. COA was changed from GRACIE to BESSIE. Also not sure of the MFG date Could be 1992 to 1996 not sure. Pre-Owned and Displayed Condition, some are a little dusty but undamaged. May need a little cleaning.
