Description: Note: H-874 is my inventory # only. This ratchet has the proper drive plug AND the drive plug retaining pin. Read on... Here is a excellent working J.H. Williams & Co. USA S-50 ratchet in 1/2" drive. It has the S-150, 1/2" drive plug in it. This style ratchet you just push the drive plug and flip the ratchet over to change directions. I took this ratchet apart, cleaned it, inspected it, oiled it and put it back together. You see these ratchets always missing the drive plug. It is because people have taken them apart and not put them back together correctly. There is a "pin" that prevents the drive plug from coming out, unless the ratchet is taken apart for cleaning. See the last photo with the red pointer to see the pin design drilled at a 45 degree angle in the gear assembly. NOTE: DO NOT TRY AND REMOVE THE DRIVE PLUG, JUST PUSH IT ENOUGH TO CHANGE DIRECTIONS.
