Description: I'm not an expert nor can I appraise this wakizashi. Please do your own research and understand this is over 400 years old and there will be nicks, scratches, dents, imperfections, and damage. The koshirae sheath is splitting near the end. There are marks on the lacquer of the sheath. The shirasaya sheath is in very good condition, absolutely beautiful. Unsure if it was made later or around the same time of the forging of this Nihonto. The blade itself probably needs a professional polish job. Comes with :Shirasaya sheath.Koshirae mounts.Original blade. (Has markings, but I'm entirely unable to translate or tell you what it says.)Wooden blade for placeholder in other mount.3 Sword bags pictured. (2 Original, Black and gold one purchased from Japanese Sword Museum.)Certificate(Does not come with display stands.)Please do your own research. I cannot translate the Japanese.
