The IS25100TC is equipped with four sensitivity levels to meet the needs of your environment. The settings are easily changed with selectable DIP switches that are located on the circuit board of the motion detector. With a range of 100’, make sure to note all possible factors that would contribute to motion in the field of view of the IS25100TC. Items that could move when heating or cooling systems come on, machinery, and direct outside light should all be avoided when selecting the best mounting position for the long range PIR. A red LED, which can also be turned off via a DIP switch, turns on for three seconds when the motion detector is activated. This allows you to walk test the IS25100TC to ensure proper installation, and also to notify you of an alarm or that the sensor has tripped. The LED will flash for approximately three minutes after power up, or in a trouble condition.
