Description: MONTANA Brand Model CL 34 Classical Guitar- Parlor-Size 12 Fret to the body, in great shape. The fretboard has been oiled and guitar has been cleaned and polished. Everything is in working order. Some rubs and marks here and there - as with most 40(+)-year-old instruments. It is small-bodied, lightweight, with a 24" scale. Seasoned wood makes for nice warm tones from this aged instrument. MONTANA was a line of instruments offered by the original Kaman Industries/Ovation Guitar Company back in the 1980s-90s. This was back when Ovation was still an independent entity based in Connecticut; long before this company was absorbed into other conglomerates. These particular instruments were built by Eastern European (Romanian) craftsmen and tradesmen, in an era where international guitar building trends had yet to shift to Asian and Indonesia as they have now.
