I bought this brand new and have used it for a few months without a single issue! It's in 10/10 condition - fully functional and zero damage. It should basically be considered open box, although it has technically been used. It is compatible with Intel and AMD Ryzen processors. I have been using it in my AMD (7800X3D) PC and the motherboard recognizes the manufacturer-preset RAM speeds (7800Mhz). I know this is also listed as being Intel compatible as well, with XMP 3.0 support. This stuff is pretty sweet! It also has RGB features and can be set to any variety of colors or animations, etc. I am using stock photos since mine is installed in my PC, but it looks completely identical. This cost ~$300 new.
