Description: Very Nice Griswold No. 8, Pattern number 206, Plated Cast Iron Trivet. Made in Erie, Pennsylvania by the Griswold Manufacturing Company. CONDITION: Trivet is in good vintage condition. It has some wear from use with about 75% of its plating intact. It has been fully seasoned and restored to protect the areas of bare iron that were not plated. Lines on logo and lettering are clean and clear. Trivet has no cracks, chips, rust, or repairs. RESTORATION: This vintage piece of cast iron has been carefully cleaned to bare iron and fully restored using a combination of electrolysis, lye, and vinegar.
