Description: Hi! You're looking at a SUPERB condition book which is a classic collection of related short stories written by WILLIAM FAULKNER--the book is a Modern Library Edition and a HARDCOVER with the ORIGINAL DUSTJACKET; it's NOT a remainder copy and NOT price-clipped, with the original $1.95 price in the upper corner of the front inner flap. This book is in SUPERB condition and the book itself is in virtually FLAWLESS shape and possibly an UNREAD copy with very slight shelfwear on the page edges and NO other significant imperfections; the dustjacket has some light dustwear and slight dust spots on the surfaces (mostly the front surface), a tiny discolored spot on the lower center of the front surface, light dings and tiny tears on the spine and opening tips, a tiny tear on the upper right corner of the front cover, a few slight creases on the right opening edge of the front cover and just light shelfwear otherwise but NO other significant flaws! The book is titled Go Down, Moses and it was written by WILLIAM FAULKNER; it was published by The Modern Library in 1942 and is a later printing (possibly 1955).Go Down, Moses is composed of seven interrelated stories, all of them set in Faulkner’s mythic Yoknapatawpha County. From a variety of perspectives, Faulkner examines the complex, changing relationships between blacks and whites, between man and nature, weaving a cohesive novel rich in implication and insight.A fantastic find, and a beautiful copy of this book! Thanks for looking, and good luck if you're bidding!
