Description: Genuine vintage handmade stamped design tin nicho. Measures approximately 5.75” high by 4" wide. Ornate crest and orejas (ears) are intact. Glass is stable and intact. Religious print inside the frame separated and possibly had some water damage however it still displays beautifully as a historic memento of old Mexico. A wire hang loop soldered onto the back of the tin frame and the loop is filled with soft museum wax and ready to hang. Great condition for age, with beautiful patina. Late 19th or early 20th century. Photos were taken with flash and without flash to highlight the details.
