Description: Super Japanese collectors cabinet, c.1920.Super Japanese cabinet in fruit woods with high quality Meiji / Art Deco styled marquetry, made circa 1920.The cabinet measures 29cm wide, 26cm in height and 15cm deep. The handles and hinges are very detailed and fashioned in silver plated copper/bronze. The escutcheon is upside down typical of Japanese production. The lock requires attention and slips. Six smaller drawers and one larger lower drawer. Lacquer in very good unrestored and original condition. This is a really delightful example of it's type in superb original condition.
