This is a boxed set of the original Fallout game, the pre-OSX Mac variant published by MacPlay, which at the time was a division of Interplay. The Mac install base was much smaller than Windows when this game was released in 1997, making these boxed sets more difficult to find than the already-scarce PC variant. CONDITION:Excellent overall box that will make a fine front display. Minor bumps and pressure seams in spots on the rear; see pics for examples.The inner liner is present. This is uncommon; many people threw these away because they didn't add to the box integrity and tended to get in the way of removing the contents.Manual looks great front the front, with a little scraping on the rear. Ref card has the usual mild bending from being in the box.Original CD case shows typical marks; the CD art has mild bending. The CD is brilliantly clean and nearly perfect.THIS GAME WILL NOT PLAY ON A MODERN MAC. HOW I SHIP: I am also a collector, and post games the way I want them posted to me: The contents will be secured to prevent sliding around, the game box wrapped in bubble padding, and everything posted in a new, sturdy box with four sides of packing peanut protection. A signature will be required for delivery to ensure the carrier is paying attention.
