Description: EAPG Large Diamond Point Pattern Flint Glass Compote Circa 1850s - 1870s Nice Early American Pattern Glass flint glass compote in the Diamond Point pattern. Circa 1850s to 1870s. Possibly by Boston & Sandwich, but also could possibly be one of the Pittsburgh makers such as McKee as this pattern was widely copied by multiple manufacturers. This a good early one with two part wafer joined construction. Heavy high quality flint glass. Has a very long lasting high pitched ring when tapped. Has numerous chips around the edge varying in size. Measures approximately 10 3/4 inches wide x 9 3/8 inches tall. This is an antique and may have small in manufacture defects that do not affect the display of the piece. HR BX
