Description: Presented is a fine 3 piece sterling silver carving set made by William B. Durgin Company. The set is done in Fairfax pattern which was first produced in 1910. The set has sterling silver handles and stainless steel blades or tines. Each piece is engraved with the monogram JO’C on the end of the handle. The set includes: Carving knife: 14 3/8 inches Carving fork: 11 1/2 inches Sharpener: 13 7/8 inches All three pieces are marked on the handles with the maker’s mark for Durgin, Sterling Handle, and Pat’d. The set is in good condition overall. The handles have some surface wear commensurate with age and light use and some dings here and there, but there are no major dents, no splits, no breaks, and no repairs.
