He looks like a staffordshire bull terrier or pit bull to me. (Let me know if you think I have the ID wrong.) The print has wonderful tones and hues. It is a chromolith from a high quality children's book from 140 years ago. The page is in good condition, but you may find minor smudges or stains in the margins. The back of the print is blank. The paper is of high quality so it holds the colors and details well. The page measures approx. 8.5 x 11 inches and the actual image size (without margins) is approx. 7.5 x 9.5 inches. This is NOT a recent copy or modern reproduction, but a GENUINE item from that era. It would look wonderful framed as a gift for the enthusiast or in a child's room.
