Author Biography Charles Job currently serves as Regulatory Affairs Manager for the National Ground Water Association and also addresses groundwater resource sustainability. He previously worked at the US Environmental Protection Agency for over 29 years, having served as Supervisory Hydrologist in the Groundwater Protection Program beginning in 1989 and from 2000-2015 as the Drinking Water Infrastructure Branch chief. At the Agency, Chuck worked with states to utilize a backlog of over $2 billion in infrastructure financial assistance and also led critical work in standards and risk management, underground injection control, regulatory coordination, and information collection. During part of his Agency tenure, Chuck worked in EPA Region V-Chicago in groundwater protection and water quality standards planning. Previously, Chuck worked as a planner for Ohio Department of Natural Resources and the Great Lakes Basin Commission and as a financial analyst for Fortune 500 companies. He also was a charter participant in the recent development of the National Ground Water Monitoring Network, a multi-agency-private sector data sharing project. Chuck earned masters degrees in Environmental Science (Miami University) and Applied Economics (University of Michigan).
