Model Number: AA31907 The famous WW2 'Spitfire' as flown by RAF 'fighter ace' Wing Commander Robert Stanford-Tuck in excellent, new condition, as pictured from multiple angles. Model issued as aircraft appeared in January 1942 when it was struck by ground fire, and forced to land. Sandford-Tuck was an ace with 29 credited 'victories' (these appear to port side of fuselage, as pictured) and remained a POW until the end of the war. This Spitfire comes with stand components, all accessories for optional landing gear settings, rotating propeller, and removable cowling to reveal Merlin engine, all as pictured. The models is presented in pristine condition, as per multiple pictures, and features colourful and detailed markings. This Spitfire also comes complete with mint Limited Edition Certificate Number 1435 of only 1500 issued, also as pictured. A lovely example! Model comes in a crisp, clean colourfully illustrated glossy box, with inner presentation tray, with little, if any, storage wear.
