We let it run for a few days (lying down), and it kept the correct time. Uses 1 AA battery (not included). Great gift for you or your favorite Beatles memorabilia collector. Measures 12" diameter. Disc still has nice color, found a small crack & a few scuffs/scratches (in photos), the large hand is a bit loose when up righted - you might know how to correctly tighten the hands - carefully check out all of the photos as they are part of the condition details.
