Unfortunately different monitor calibrations can have an impact on color and shade. The item may have appeared different in your monitor, but it matched mine. This is something out of my control. I have been packing breakables and dishes for years! I use fresh bubble wrap and packing peanuts, and as I pack thousands of dishes each year, I do it very well. However I use the postal service and at times they do not understand the word "FRAGILE", or they have seasonal workers. This is why I insure all boxes.
