BOB NEWHART SHOW First Episode Rare TV Series Script + Extras, Suzanne Pleshette

Description: This is a first-generation COPY of a 1972 script from THE BOB NEWHART SHOW TV series (not a transcript or Photoshop recreation) from my personal collection. It was used by actor Alan Marston. He’s a member of Bob’s group and I believe he was also a stand-in. Marston made notes about dialogue changes in the script, diagrams of the sets (the show was brand new after all), and blocking notes. There are also some scene breakdown pages too. A copy of the script is being offered here. The 60-page script is from the show's first episode, “Fly the Unfriendly Skies”. In the story, Emily (Suzanne Pleshette) joins Bob's (Bob Newhart) “fear of flying” group after she confesses that she is also afraid of flying in airplanes. Others co-stars in the episode include Peter Bonerz, Bill Daily, Marcia Wallace, and Patricia Smith (her character was eventually dropped). Patients include Jack Riley, Noam Pitlik, and Florida Friebus. A young Penny Marshall appears as a flight attendant. The script’s cover has been color copied and an acetate sheet has been added to keep it looking pristine (to be honest, it looks better than the original). The script pages are printed on one side. Great care has been taken to make this a piece that a collector will be proud to own and show off or frame. Get an inside look into the making of this iconic series.
