Description: This is a custom 12" figure commemorating one of my favorite shows on television, Blue Bloods, and one of my favorite television characters, Frank Reagan. Frank Reagan (played by Tom Selleck) is the Police Commissioner of the NYPD. This series revolves around an Irish Catholic family of police dedicated to law enforcement. The patriach of the family is Henry, Frank's dad. Henry (Len Cariou) started as a beat cop and rose through the ranks to become police commissioner, as did Frank. Both of their wives are deceased as is Frank's son Joe (murdered before the series started). Frank has two sons in law enforcement. Oldest son Danny (Donnie Wahlberg) a very intense, tough detective. Younger son Jamie (Will Estes) was a lawyer who decided to chuck it all and become a policeman, walks a beat. The two brothers have a sister, Erin (Bridget Moynahan) who is a tough prosecuting attorney. There are also some children/grandchildren in the mix, so it is a family type story. Every episode has a family meal were things are discussed around the family dinner table. There are several other characters (partners, assistants, bosses,etc) involved to help round out the stories. If you like good stories that rely more on good acting, good plots, interaction between believable characters, vs non-stop action and car chases, then check this out on the CBS. Please note: although this figure does not look exactly like Frank Reagan/Tom Selleck, there is a bit of a resemblance and the figure displays well. This figure would make a nice addition to any collection. This figure is fairly articulate. stand included.
