Pizza Delivery Boy Synopsis:Russell Tovey plays the lovable George, battling with his double identity as a mild-mannered and geeky hospital porter who for one night a month is transformed into a flesh-hungry, predatory werewolf. Aidan Turner plays the good-looking and laid-back Mitchell who, in contrast to George, has the gift of the gab and an easy confidence with the ladies. But he is also a blood-sucking vampire struggling with going cold-turkey from the blood he craves. Completing the flat-share trio is Annie, played by Lenora Crichlow, a talkative ghost lacking in self-confidence and desperate for company. Annie is still pining after her fiancé, whom she was due to marry before the fatal accident that left her with her ghostly affliction - and who happens to be the landlord of their flat. The series follows the trio as they do their best to live their lives as normally as possible despite their strange and dark secrets. But with unwelcome intruders into their world, rumblings about an impending revolution from the vampire underworld and constant threats of exposure - on top of the usual issues faced by young people surrounding love, work and mates - the only thing they may be able to rely on in their heightened world, is each other. Season 1 Season 1, Episode 0: Pilot Original Air Date-18 February 2008 Two twentysomethings, George (a werewolf) and Mitchell (a vampire), move into a flatshare only to discover that their new home is haunted by Annie, the ghost of a previous tenant. Season 1, Episode 1: Episode #1.1 Original Air Date-25 January 2009 Mitchell struggles with his growing lust for blood when he asked out on a date while Annie has a harder time dealing with her emotions than she thought when she comes face to face with a someone from her past. He is sweet on Annie and moves into the house, almost ruining George's date with nurse Nina, but George is later overjoyed to find that, despite being a werewolf, he can still function sexually. Mitchell is stalked by the troubled Lauren, frightened by her own blood-lust, and he lets her drink his blood, as well as stealing hospital supplies for her. Gilbert eventually passes over, having learned that his purpose was to give Annie her information, but Annie, who has mistakenly believed that her 'business' was to please Owen, remains in limbo, having discovered, to her horror, what really killed her. George lures Owen to the house where Annie tries to haunt him but he scorns her efforts. Mitchell meets up with Josie, an ex-girlfriend who now has incurable cancer but she rejects his offer of immortality through vampiricism as unnatural and Mitchell himself is shocked to learn that several of the 'recruits' are unwilling victims. The three house-mates invade the vampires' lair and are rescued by Lauren whom Mitchell finally dispatches out of pity. Back at the house Annie has her final revenge on Owen, driving him mad, but, just as the door appears for her to pass over, Herrick turns up...
