Batman 42 CGC 3.0 - C/OW - First Catwoman Cover in Batman

Description: Batman 42 CGC 3.0 with Cream to Off White Pages. This book features the first Catwoman cover in the Batman title. The chief defect with this copy is the cover tanning which has resulted in edge chipping. The pages are actually quite nice. I took a couple of pictures prior to sending it off. You'll see in the pictures that the cover is actually fairly well attached and also that the book is not pressed. I didn't want to press the book due to the cover tanning and I didn't feel ultimately that it would help the grade. You'll see in the scans that some chipping occurred in the slabbing process and there are a few small floaters in the cases. As for the case itself, there are various scuffs that I photographed, but please read the blurb below. Due to the consistent issues that I've had with imperfections in CGC cases, such as scuffs and scratches, I'm adding this statement to every one of my listings. I have inspected the front of this case and I've photographed the plastic imperfections that I was able to observe. That said, these imperfections can be difficult to see (even more difficult to photograph) and nearly imperceptible depending on the tilt and the way the light hits the case.
