If you own one of these beautiful band saws you know how useful it would be if you could stand it up and cut small material without having to hold the saw. I now have a solution that fits the bill perfectly! The RCDM band saw table and stand is the perfect fit for your DeWalt DCS371 or DCS370 (BAND SAW NOT INCLUDED) which converts your DeWalt band saw into a potable vertical band saw. This table and stand DOES NOT work with the DeWalt DCS374 band saw.This kit was designed for the DCS371 and DCS370 band saws ONLY.It WILL NOT fit any other make or model of saw. The RCDM band saw table and stand features a strong 3D printed PETG thermoplastic stand which supports the saw in a vertical position and requires NO MODIFICATION to you band saw in any way. The stand simply slips over the motor housing and is held in place with with a heavy duty cable tie. Once in place the stand provides a sturdy support for the saw and even has a foot that can be screwed to a small plywood base (not included) should you need additional stability. The table consists of a two-piece sandwich design which slips over the metal work rest and is secured by six stainless steel screws to provide a 85mm x 85mm table to support small workpieces. The table is designed to be removable with the blade installed which makes it easier to convert the saw back to normal without removing the blade (you will need to remove the table to change out the blade). The trigger clip holds the trigger "on" where you don't have to hold the trigger while cutting with the saw. Just remove the battery (first) then depress the trigger safety and install the trigger clip into place (see photos). Once the clip is secured you can activate the saw by dropping the battery into it's socket. When you are done cutting you just depress the battery latch and slide the battery up to turn off the saw. The trigger clip conveniently stores on the saw's handle so you don't loose it on the shop floor (see photo). This kit also includes a blade guard that partially covers the blade slot to help prevent wandering fingertips from entering the slot (see notes below). Just press the guard into the slots of the saw frame until the guard is flush. No need to remove it for a blade change! The best part about the RCDM band saw table and stand is that the saw can be used normally (handheld) without removing the table or stand!!!
