Its compact size allows it to be used as part of a small arms sighting system without interference concerns. It can also be used as a direct replacement for the much larger and (75 percent) heavier A3256391 to reduce operator fatigue, improve CG, and increase the useful range of PVS-14 or PVS-7 goggle systems during head worn or helmet‐mounted operations. The lens surfaces are hard carbon coated and optimized for performance with Gen 2 and Gen 3 image intensification night vision systems. The lens offers a 6x magnification, has an 8-degree field-of view, and an objective focus of 44 mm. It is also IP67 waterproof. It is available in a Black color.
