I did open the box and turn it on to check to see if it is SIM locked and it is. I tried unlocking it via AT&T as this is where it originated from, but they won’t unlock it since it was sent as a promo. In any event this phone can only be used on AT&T. So if you are interested, make sure you have AT&T, otherwise it won’t work for you.
