Description: This one of kind Victorian art glass basket features a beautiful green opalescent and thorn design, with intricate raised relief and a glossy finish.The rim is pulled and embellished with a colourless seashell pattern along the rim and the footed base also has applied colourless seashells. The applied colourless handle has a unique shape and textured pattern to make this basket more charming. Pontil mark can be seen on the bottom of the basket. Does not glow under a black light. Not marked. Attributed to a fine Bohemian glasshouse such as Harrach. Circa. 1890's - 1900. 7-7/8" tall. The rim is 4" diameter. The base is 3" diameter. Professional shipping is used with much care.
