Description: A beautiful circa 1830's-40's Staffordshire red transfer plate in "The Sea" pattern. Always a popular pattern among collectors, it's also one of my favorites. The pattern name is stamped on the back along with the impressed "ADAMS" mark. Measures 9 1/2" across. Condition is excellent, super clean. There are no chips or cracks and no repairs. The glaze is shiny with no discoloration, no glaze crazing and virtually no wear or signs of use at all. As shown in the 6th photo, there is a little 1/16" glazed over open bubble void along the edge of the rim and a couple lighter spots near the edge of the rim where the glaze didn't fully cover, in-the-making, otherwise fine. Satisfaction Guaranteed! Check out my USPS and UPS shipping prices as there is sometimes a significant difference.
