Description: Framed under glass, an engraving of "Geo. Washington" by W. Grainger Sculpt. This is an image of Geo Washington, apparently from a page of Archibald Robertson's (attr) "An Historical View of the United States", London, HD Symonds, ca 1795. It is framed in a fancy wood frame under glass with a mat. The engraving is on a piece of paper which measures approx 3.25" w x 5". I have not removed the backing (maroon velvet). The mat and frame appear to be early 20th century. I am not an expert, so please ask questions. This is an estate item with no history available. Ships 5lbs USPS Ground. Thanks for looking.
