Top is decorated with a theorem-type flower and fruit basket painting, all on a teal background. Paint probably applied in the early 20th century. Gilded trim painted scrolls and zigzag decorations. Brass lock plate and brass butt hinges. Leather handles. CONDITION Overall very good. Age drying crack in the lid. Colors bright.
