Description: Antique Elevator Floor Indicator Dial. This Is Made Of Cast Iron With Brass Plated Numbers. A Magnet Will Stick To This. I'm Guessing This Is From The 1920s - 1930s Time Frame. It Is Heavy And Weighs 7 Pounds. It Is 10" In Diameter And 3/4" Deep. The Needle Shaft Is 10" Long. There Is Some Minor Paint Residue On The Perimeter. The Manufacturer Is Unknown. No Markings Except For The Number "89" On The Back Of The Arrow. This Indicates Floors 1 Through 11.This Great Piece Of NYC Architectural Salvage Is From The Personal Collection Of A Gentleman Who Worked For The Millar Elevator Service Company In New York City For Many Years. He Serviced Many Otis Elevators During His Career Including Those At The New York Life (Insurance) Building During Its Renovation Period. The Elevators Were Renovated In The 1970s. The 40 Story New York Life Building Was Built In 1926-1928 At 51 Madison Avenue In NYC. It Is On The National Register Of Historic Places. Shipped With USPS Ground Advantage.
