Spine faces show later added type labels. Exteriors of the volumes are overall very clean with some minor age, use and shelf wear including some light cracking of the leather at the front hinge of volume 1 and to a much lesser extent volume 2 as well as some rubbing to the outer corner edges of the boards and upper and lower ends of the spine. Book is still structurally well intact with all boards well connected. Boards show a few bumps at the edges, leather at the margins and corners show a few scuffs but exteriors are overall very clean. Interiors of the books are overall very clean with former owner's name inscribed on the front endpapers as well as some light foxing at the first and last several pages of the books. Large fold out color map plan leaf of Paris at the beginning of Volume I measures approximately 23 1/2 x 18 5/8 inches unfolded. Books' bindings are tight and well intact and the books are complete with all pages present and none coming loose, detached or missing. Volume I totals 376 pages and Volume II also totals 376 pages. Both volumes together weigh about 6 1/4 and measure approximately 10 3/8 x 7 7/8 x 2 1/2 inches.
