Description: This cast iron knocker is in great original condition, as is the attached nut and bolt used to mount the knocker to a door. The knocker, including the bolt, measures approximately 7 1/2 inches end to end stretched out. The threaded portion of the bolt mount is 1 1/4 inches long. The rest of the bolt shaft is 1 1/2 inches long. Once mounted, the knocker measures 4 3/4 inches stretched out and 2 inches when hanging pendant. The initials “WP” (or “JM”, depending on how it is oriented) are stamped inside, as is the digit “4”. The knocker is heavy; it weighs approximately 1 3/4 pounds. We are a smoke-free/pet-free home.
