B. & Company (Pittsburgh-PA, Company Operated: 1852-1875), Introduced: 1861 SIZE: 8.25” Diameter x 6.25” tall CONDITION REPORT: Used. Very nice antique condition, no chips, no cracks, no excessive use-wear. It has manufactured mold seam sharpness and fritting up inside of the foot. Occasional annealing “straw marks” as expected. The scalloped rim is excellent, it is all original (not ground or repaired). As expected for a heavy item of this age, it has age-appropriate use-wear scuffs on the foot bottom. The bowl itself is absolutely beautiful, without any damage, which is rare. Long sustained ringing tone when flicked with a finger. The glass is bright and clear without any cloudiness or sickness whatsoever. This item has no significant damages, but it may show light use-wear consistent with age and prior service. As always due to age and prior usage, the item may have slight imperfections such as minor scuffs, scratches, trim wear, and/or slight manufacturing defects.
