Description: Up for your consideration is an antique Harrison Cady Peter Rabbit cast iron doorstop. He's about 100 years old and was made sometime around the 1920's. Harrison Cady wrote and illustrated a Peter Rabbit comic strip in the 1920's and this doorstop is a depiction of the Peter Rabbit he drew in his comic strip. This cast iron doorstop is extremely rare. Upon extensive research, none of this form have been sold online within the past twenty years. The doorstop is still in decent condition and retains some of its original gold paint. There is surface wear and patina due to age. Please see pictures for full description. The cast iron figure measures 8 1/2" tall and 4 1/2" wide. It weighs a hefty 5 pounds and 15 ounces.
