Description: (You may notice water drops in the pictures. I rinsed out the bottle with water and have been letting it dry on its own.) Baccarat is a French luxury brand known for fine crystal. Baccarat crystal pieces have a history of appreciating in value due to their limited production and the brand's commitment to maintaining the highest standards of quality. TheRichelieu pattern was produced in 1916 and is a classic design featuring intricate cuts and a honeycomb pattern. (I've included an image from the Baccarat Michelieu catalog from 1916.) The decanter is unmarked because Baccarat didn't start signing pieces until after 1916. The bottle stopper is 4.25"H, and the bottle is 9.75"H. Together, the decanter height is 12.5"H. The bottle is in great antique condition. There may be light wear consistent with age and use, but nothing I can see. The bottom of the stopper has a small flea bite that is unnoticeable when on top of the bottle. A beautiful heirloom piece! This will be shipped insured. Interesting fact -The Bishop of Metz established the Baccarat glass company in 1765 to promote industry in the village of Baccarat, France. Hey, you have great taste!
