Description: This is a genuine small ammonite fossil made into a pendant for a necklace or anything else you want to use it for. It is 1.5" wide and weighs 0.5oz and would make for a great gift for a collector or loved one this holiday season. This has a beautiful polish on it that allows you to see all the details inside of it, 4 of the cavities are hollowed out which adds to its uniqueness. These are 110 million years ago and thrived with the dinosaurs. Ammonites are extinct and are related to the modern-day octopus and squid. This pendant has some nice iridescent colors on the back and beautiful polish on the front. I do not know what the pendant itself is made of, I do not think it is sterling silver and would guess it's some sort of base metal.
