Description: This is a Travel Air 1929 Model R die cast airplane for Allis Chalmers. It is from SpecCast of Dyersville, Iowa (made in China). The plane is dark blue (darker in real life) with orange lettering, white nose and tail fins. It is also a bank. There is a slot underneath the pilot canopy for coins, and you screw off the plane's nose to retrieve your money. The plane is 8 1/2" long and has an 11' wingspan. Condition is good. The plane is still in its original plastic and box. There is a stain on the back of the box which has not migrated to the inside of the box.
