It will not pick up larger items. The capacity of the cage is 1 gallon. It has a telescoping lightweight aluminum handle for people of different heights. The aluminum handle makes it lightweight. The pickup cage is made of 304 stainless steel wire and holds 1 gallon. The density of the stainless steel wire is more than the baskets that pick up larger nuts or items. So note, this will only pick up nuts or items 3/8 to 1" in size. Includes storage bag.
